What is OA
Organic agriculture is a holistic production management system which promotes and enhances agro-ecosystem health, including biodiversity, biological cycles, and soil biological activity. It emphasizes the use of management practices in preference to the use of off-farm inputs, taking into account that regional conditions require locally adapted systems. This is accomplished by using, where possible, agronomic, biological, and mechanical methods, as opposed to using synthetic materials, to fulfill any specific function within the system.

Organic Agriculture is an ecological production management system that promotes and enhances biodiversity, biological cycles, and soil biological activity. It is based on minimal use of off-farm inputs and on management practices that restore, maintain and enhance ecological harmony…. The principal guidelines for organic production are to use materials and practices that enhance the ecological balance of natural systems and that integrate the parts of the farming system into an ecological whole.
What is OA
Organic agriculture is a holistic system of production designed to optimize the productivity, and fitness of diverse communities within the agroecosystem, including soil organisms, plants, livestock, and people. The principle goal of organic agriculture is to develop productive enterprises that are sustainable and harmonious with the environment.
What is OA
The Ecological Agriculture within the meaning of the present ordinance, represents the agri-foodstuffs without using fertilizers, pesticides, hormones, anabolisants, antibiotics for a stimulating purpose and other harmful conventional products according to the organic production rules laid down in the present ordinance, which observe the national standards, guidebooks and tender books and are certified by a certification body established for this purpose.
What is OA
Organic agriculture is any method of growing, cultivating or raising living organisms that facilitates them in their own natural process of development, with as little interference in that development as possible, towards the goal of providing a rich source of proteins, fats, carbohydrates, fiber, vitamins, minerals and other trace nutrients and living organisms- all of a chemical composition appropriate for use by the natural human body- to maintain an energetic, happy, disease-free state of life.
What is OA
Ecological (organic) agriculture is the science, or rather art, of managing or maintaining agricultural organisms and their environment for their long-term natural and human use. As a science, ecological (organic) agriculture deals with the systematic study of material (living organisms and their environment) and functional structures (including the inter-relations between material structures) of the agricultural systems; it also designs the management of those agroecosystems that can meet the human needs for food, clothing, and housing on a long-term basis, without diminishing their ecological, economic, and social resources. As a practice, ecological (organic) agriculture is the implementation of theoretical knowledge about nature and agriculture into sustainable technological systems, based on material, energetic, and informational resources. Ecological (organic) agriculture relies upon wisdom and, as such, it involves detailed knowledge of the land, living beings, and other economic and social facts, as well as intuition, temperance in the choice and application of practical measures.
What is OA
Organic Agriculture means a self-sufficient and sustainable agro-environmental system in equilibrium. The system is based as far as possible on local, renewable resources. Organic farming builds on an integrated ethos, which encompasses the environmental, economic and social aspects in agricultural production both a local and a global perspective. Thus, organic farming perceives nature as an entity, which has value in its own right; human beings have a moral responsibility to steer the course of agriculture so that the cultivated landscape makes a positive contribution to the countryside.
